Our mission is to help users adopt high performance computing (HPC) resources to advance their research. The HPC resources available to LSU faculty, research staff, and students include local machines, statewide resources provided by the Louisiana Optical Network Initiative, and national level resources provided by the NSF via the XSEDE project. Help is available in the form of personal consulting on issues from application selection to latest methodologies, general introductory presentations for all audiences, and beginning through advanced training. Interaction with XSEDE is facilitated by a local Campus Champion, and a wealth of local expertise is available to help with proposal preparation and usage. Contact us to discuss the possibilities; see where the future of high performance computing is headed, and discover what it can do for you.
