State to Host 2008 Cyber Awareness Summit

The Cyber Innovation Center in Bossier City, Louisiana is opening online registration for the 2008 Cyber Awareness Summit. The center will co-host the summit along with the Mighty Eighth Air Force and Air Force Cyber Command- Provisional.

This summit will explore how cyberinfrastructure is transforming society and creating interdependencies across government, industry and academia.  The Cyber Awareness Summit also will foster collaboration amongst the cyber community and will stimulate discussion locally, regionally and nationally.

For three days, attendees will hear thought-provoking presentations that challenge conventional wisdom and participate in break-out sessions that identify areas of opportunities and concern for the future.  Keynote speakers include best-selling authors, generals, industry leaders and leading cyber researchers. The Cyber Awareness Summit also will include great networking opportunities at two evening socials and the conference exhibit hall.  Please visit www.cyberinnovationcenter.org to learn more.

Attendees will include local, state and federal government representatives, military personnel, small businesses, Department of Defense contractors, private industry, Tier 1 research institutions, higher education and K-12 administrators and faculty and interested citizens. To register or learn more, please visit www.cyber-awareness-summit.com .
