I'm currently a Ph.D student at Division of Electrical & Computer Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EECS). I finished my undergraduate study in 2010 at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) with a major in Computer Science. I'm also a research assistant in the Geometric and Visual Computing (GVC) Group at LSU. I'm also collaborating with Pennington Biomedical Research Center and Faces Lab.

Facial Reconstruction

We propose a novel graph-based algorithm which uses both the template guidance and break-region matching to recompose fragmented thin-shell objects with many and small pieces.

We compute the volumetric matching between the skull model to the template head with the tissue and muscle information. Therefore, the face on the skull model is naturally introduced by the tissue and muscles transferred from the template head model.
