There will be a Coast to Cosmos/Coastal Studies Institute Seminar lecture on Tuesday, October 14th by Robert H. Stavn, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, titled, "YBiogeo-optics: Suspended Particulate Matter in the Northern Gulf of Mexico and Other Coastal Oceans. Applications and Remote-Sensing Comments." The lecture will take place in 1034 Digital Media Center at 10:30 AM.
There will be a Frontiers of Scientific Computing Lecture Series lecture on Thursday, October 16th by Howard Elman, University of Maryland, titled, "Efficient Solution Algorithms for Stochastic Partial Differential Equations." The lecture will take place in 1034 Digital Media Center at 3:30 PM.
