Upcoming Lectures:
-R. Clint Whaley, Louisiana State University, will give a Computational Mathematics Seminar lecture titled, “Automated Empirical Computational Optimization in ATLAS and iFKO” at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, March 24th in 1034 DMC.

-Bin Zheng, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, will give a Computational Mathematics Seminar lecture titled, “Fast Multilevel Solvers for Discrete Fourth Order Parabolic Problems” at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, March 31st in 1034 DMC.

-Frank Tsai, Louisiana State University, will give a Coast to Cosmos Lecture Series lecture titled, “Saltwater Intrusion in Baton Rouge's Aquifers, Southeastern Louisiana” at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1st in 1034 DMC.

Please Note:
-The University will be closed on Friday, April 3rd for Easter.

-Special meal requests must be approved prior to the event. In order to allow for sufficient administrative processing time, special meal requests must be submitted at least 14 business days prior to the event.

-On November 7, 2014, Governor Jindal issued Executive Order BJ 14-16 that directed executive branch agencies including higher education to cease spending in support (non-personnel) categories. In response, LSU has developed operating guidelines to meet the spirit of the order through June 30, 2015 in support of the state budget. These guidelines apply only to expenditures using State appropriated funds that are included in the University's 2014-15 Operating Budget and so identified with a zero (0) in the sixth digit of the account number.
