Abstract:

Jaron Lanier will give a Q&A session at CCT from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Louisiana Digital Media Center Auditorium (on Stadium Drive at LSU, at the “south east” gates).

The session will take place in the auditorium.

This event is free and open to LSU students, faculty and staff.

Speaker's Bio:

Jaron Lanier, who is credited for popularizing the term “virtual reality,” will present a lecture on “Who Owns the Future,” based on his book of the same title, at the LSU College of Music & Dramatic Arts in the Claude L. Shaver Theatre on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 5:30 p.m.

This lecture is free and open to students, faculty, staff and the public.

A reception with appetizers will follow the lecture, where Mr. Lanier will sign copies of his book, “Who Owns the Future.”
