Abstract:
Student Presentations 8:00 AM to Noon IGERT on Computational Fluid Dynamics teaches Computational Fluid Dynamics as a fundamental discipline. The curriculum incorporates High Performance Computing and Grid techniques to prepare NSF funded IGERT scholars with the best possible competitive edge. Students and faculty from 10 disciplines collaborate on research problems that address Grand Challenge CFD problems. IGERT students also benefit from funding for mini-grants for research, travel awards, and the opportunity to study abroad and/or work as an intern in an industrial setting.
