Abstract: Electronic Arts Inc. will be visiting the LSU campus October 24-25, 2011, to recruit students for their summer intern positions as follows: software engineer; designer; technical artist; online software engineer; software quality assurance engineer; and business analyst, analytics. Speaker's Bio: Marija is the VP of Central Development Services at EA. She is currently responsible for EA's shared services portfolio, composed of seven business units: Localization, Quality Assurance, Customer Experience, Certification, External Development/XDev, Motion Capture and Mastering. CDS operates in 14 countries across North America, South America, Europe and Asia, supporting all EA development studios. Prior to her current role Marija was leading strategic initiatives at Electronic Arts, Canada, such as: Art and Engineering Outsourcing, Product quality enhancements, and Studio online and launch readiness. During her tenure with EA, Marija held various roles including Director, Creative Services at EAC and Senior Development Director responsible for EA WW technology development in North America. Some of the projects Marija and her team worked on were the rendering engine, animation tools and systems, as well as other core tech components used in almost every EA game. Before joining the exciting and challenging video game industry, Marija spent 10 years in business software development where she held various positions, from software engineering and technical sales to director of program management. During this time she received several awards for outstanding professional achievements. Marija has a degree in Electrical Engineering and a BSc in Computer Science from Belgrade University. In her free time, Marija enjoys adventure travel, skiing, cycling with her husband, and savoring gourmet food and fine wines. |
