Abstract:
Andreas Deja is the recipient of the inaugural Red Stick Lifetime Career Achievement Award. Andreas is one of the world's leading animators, respected by his peers all over the world for his remarkable contribution to the art. Andreas is responsible for many of animation's most memorable characters, including Roger Rabbit, King Triton, Scar, Jafar, and most lately Queen Narcissa from Enchanted. Andreas will discuss several of his most memorable pieces of work. A must see! Speaker's Bio:
Andreas Deja works for Disney Feature Animation and has created some of the most memorable characters you've ever seen including, Jafar from Aladdin, Scar from The Lion King, Roger from Who Framed Roger Rabbit and King Triton from The Little Mermaid. He is also one of only a few animators the Disney Studio has authorized to draw Mickey Mouse.
