• Ian Wesley Smith spent the summer working on uncompressed high definition video at Brno in the Czech Republic
• Alex Nagelberg spent the summer working as an intern with Omer Rana and Andrew Davidson at Cardiff University in Wales
• John Lewis spent the summer on an REU
• Maria Cristina Tugurlan was awarded a Student Scholarship to attend GGF21 in Seattle (October 15-19).
• Kevin Kolz presented his work on connecting a WiiMote to control a visualization of LIDAR data to the Provost when she visited CCT (October 24)
