Ismail has received his BS degree in Computer Engineering in 2007 at Dogus University, Istanbul-Turkey. He has been studying in Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Louisiana State University as a graduate student since Fall 2007. Also, he has been working as a research assistant within Dr. Kosar's group at Center for Computation and Technology where he is involved in PetaShare project.
Basically, research interests are(but not limited to);
- Distributed Storage Systems
- Computer Architecture
- Computer Networks
