The CCT Advisory Board provides the center with objective, expert advice to advance the innovative and interdisciplinary research efforts in computational sciences, technologies and related disciplines. The Board provides essential leadership in CCT's effort to build international partnerships that promote progress in leading-edge, revolutionary technologies in academia and industry. Board Structure
CCT’s director selects voluntary members to serve on the board. In attempting to create an advisory panel that represents the diversity of the sciences and technologies CCT touches, there is reflective diversity in the composition of the Board, including members from academia and industry ranging in age and area of expertise. Board Emphasis
The Board advises the CCT Director on strategic issues relevant to the center’s enhancement and effectiveness. Primary responsibilities of the Board include: - Annual evaluation of the CCT Mission Statement and the CCT Strategic Plan
- Review and input related to CCT operational objectives, sharing information and advancing opportunities that contribute to and extend CCT's education, research and economic development activities
- Directional advice related to external funding strategy and opportunity
- Cultivation of strategic collaborations and partnerships
