As CCT's first Chief Technology Officer, Charlie McMahon oversees the integration of all high-performance computing support (hardware, applications, and users) and enablement activities at LSU. The integrated user services and enablement environment greatly enhances the current resource structure for high-performance comuputing services on campus and strengthens CCT’s experience in successful, proven high-performance computing enablement and development.

McMahon also is executive director of the Louisiana Optical Network Initiative , where he oversees and coordinates networking activities at all LONI partner sites.
