Fourteen CCT Faculty Honored Among LSU's 2009 Rainmakers
BATON ROUGE -- The LSU Office of Research and Economic Development has selected 100 University Rainmakers , honoring research and creative faculty who are nationally and internationally recognized for innovative research and creative scholarship, who compete for external funding at the highest levels and who attract and mentor exceptional graduate students.
Included on this year's list of Rainmakers are 14 faculty members with the LSU Center for Computation & Technology , or CCT, who were honored for their work in their respective departments across campus.

This is the second year the Office of Research & Economic Development has selected LSU Rainmakers, and they plan to continue this process annually. Last year, 10 CCT faculty members were selected among the inaugural group of Rainmakers.
The University honored this year's Rainmakers with a special reception on campus in October.
