SCALA 2010 - Scientific Computing Around Louisiana

Registration and Submission Open!

 

The LSU Center for Computation and Technology (CCT) and Tulane University's Center for Computational Science will co-sponsor an inaugural meeting to:
(1) highlight cutting-edge topics in scientific computing,
(2) showcase the research at Louisiana institutions and,
(3) promote collaborations across the state of Louisiana.

This meeting is open to any faculty, post-doctoral researcher or student from any college in and around Louisiana. The meeting will start Friday at 1:00 p.m. and run through approximately 5 p.m. Saturday.

SUBMISSION & REGISTRATION:
  Contributed talks and posters are now being solicited.  CLICK HERE to upload your abstract and/or to register (pdf documents only).  Registration is FREE, but required. Submission deadline: January 5, 2010 (early submissions encouraged).

PARKING: The inner part of campus has restricted access on weekdays. Parking is available at the Visitor Center, Parker Coliseum or commuter lots off Nicholson Extension. A parking permit is required to park in these lots. Please check the box on the registration form to request a free parking permit. (You can pick up the permit at the Visitor Center located at the intersection of Highland Road and Dalrymple Drive upon arrival--please allow ample time for parking and walking.)
