Registration Ongoing for Red Stick International Animation Festival
Red Stick International Animation Festival will take place April 18-22 in the Baton Rouge Arts District at a variety of historic venues in the capital city.
Registration is now open on the festival Web site, www.redstickfestival.org, for Red and Gold passes. A Red Pass is no-cost to participants and entitles them to attend all festival film screenings. A Gold Pass entitles participants to attend all lectures offered at the 2007 Red Stick Festival, in addition to the free screenings.
Gold Passes are $50. However, Gold Passes will be available to any faculty or staff from an educational institution for $25, and will be available to any students for $20. If someone purchases five or more student Gold Passes, the rate will be further reduced to $10 per student pass.
In addition to lectures and screenings, participants can attend the workshops offered this year for $20 each, with a $10 each discount rate for students. Attendants must register for a Gold Pass before they can purchase admission to the workshops. Red Pass participants will not be eligible to attend the workshops.
If you are able to help with the festival, please contact CCT Event Manager Karen Jones for information on becoming a volunteer.
