•    Congratulations to Professor Tevfik Kosar, who received the College Research Award at the College of Basic Sciences Honors Convocation.

•    The ALL CCT Meeting scheduled for this Wednesday, March 18, at 3 p.m. has been canceled because Chancellor Michael Martin will hold a campuswide forum on University budget cuts at that time. The Chancellor’s forum will take place from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Cox Communications Center for Student Athletes. All are encouraged to attend.

•    Future ALL CCT meetings of the Spring 2009 semester will take place April 15 and May 20 at 3 p.m. in Johnston 338. If you have any information, news or announcements you wish to include at the meeting, please notify Karen Jones, kjones@cct.lsu.edu.

•    The 2009 IEEE International Conference on Cluster Computing (Cluster 2009) conference, to be held in New Orleans Aug. 31 through Sept. 4, welcomes paper and poster submissions on innovative work from researchers in academia, industry, and government, describing original research in the field of cluster computing.
