Mail Server:

CCT mailserver provides IMAP capabilities for retrieving e-mail, SMTP authentication for sending, and security via SSL/TLS encryption. You can configure a mail client to securely access your e-mail from anywhere in the world or use our webmail interface from any browser.

Mail Client(Evolution, Thunderbird, Outlook, etc) Settings:

Incoming mail server settings:

• IMAP:
  • Host name or Mailserver name: mail.cct.lsu.edu
  • Check the option to use SSL and add the port number as 993

Outgoing mail server settings:

• SMTP server or Outgoing Mail server: mail.cct.lsu.edu
• Check the option to authenticate as this server requires authentication. Use your CCT username and password for authentication and add the port number as 465(Port 465 is sometimes blocked by ISPs. So, you can also try port 25)
