- High Performance Computing
In an effort to advance research and optimize user service, LSU's Center for Computation & Technology (CCT) and Information Technology Services (ITS) have joined forces to create a central gateway to the high performance computing resources and expertise of LSU: www.hpc.lsu.edu. CCT and ITS are establishing a premium computing environment that advances interdisciplinary research as well as research within individual disciplines, and supports users with the best possible infrastructure to carry out their research.

- Access Grid
The Center maintains various access grids across the campus that provide high-quality audio and video conferencing to other A.G. sites, both state-wide, nationally, or internationally.

- Grid Computing
Grid computing is an important component of both infrastructure and research at CCT. We are working to build a production Grid environment for major resources at CCT, including several production grids and test beds, as well as deployment of innovative middleware solutions like the Grid Application Toolkit, Gridsphere, and Stork.

- SCSS - Scientific Computing Systems and Software
SCSS is a new organization that designs, develops and prototypes scientific computing systems and software for current and future users of LSU's supercomputing systems. Daniel S. Katz, CCT's new assistant director, is leading the group's efforts to develop new computing technologies, which are critical to many areas of research from coastal modeling and tsunami detection to terrain rendering and space-based applications.
- Internal Resources
CCT's internal resources are expertly managed and distributed in order to maximize research productivity. Ravi Paruchuri, our IT Manager, and his team bring experience and expertise to CCT.
