Funding Resources: CCT Procedures

3 Steps To Applying For A Grant

It's not easy finding grant money to fund your project. That's why the Office of Grant Development at CCT is here. Other organizations may have you jump through hoops to get funding, but not here at CCT. Generating funding for your project is as easy as 1-2-3...

  1. Find appropriate funding agency and program. - There are hundreds of organizations out there that are available to help fund your project. Look around and see what you can find. We have an extensive list of previous funding agencies available at our links section. OGD can help you find grant opportunities as well!
  2. Develop proposal idea, budget, and justification. - Be specific and descriptive. Tell us exactly what you're going to do, how you're going to do it. Please include timeframes, goal statements, scope information. If you need help, check out our links section for a list of resources.
  3. Contact OGD - The Office of Grant Development can assist in proposal routing and the submission process to your projects' funding agency.

If, at any time, you need assistance in generating any of these items, please don't hesitate to contact the Office of Grant Development at grants@cct.lsu.edu or +1 225 578-1294

Things to consider...

Because grant applications are time-sensitive, it is vitally important that you have these 3 steps done at least 5 business-days before the application is due to the funding organization. A little bit of planning-ahead and time-management goes a long way to getting your project the funding it deserves.

Policies
