The IGERT students will undergo an integrated graduate education and research program that requires the students to pursue an unique interdisciplinary course training combining computational methods, fluid dynamics, high performance computing and visualization, and to conduct an interdisciplinary research program in computational fluid dynamics that includes at least two faculty in different disciplines and includes "hands- on" mentoring by research active faculty.
