Opportunities

The IGERT program offer varied opportunities to IGERT students who will attend forums, workshops and seminars. There are travel opportunities for IGERT students and some small project funding. IGERT students will benefit from experiences of visiting international students.

Students will teach undergraduate classes and will become mentors themselves. Through community outreach, IGERT fellows and associates will promote science in local schools. Skills acquired though the comprehensive IGERT program will allow students to combine theory and practice.
